David Coax
David Coax, originally from Bozeman, Montana in the nord west of the USA, is living in Stuttgart and works since 1994 in the automotive art scene.
The abandoned automobile is since ever his preferential motive. As David lived most of his life in Monatana, this case was obvious. In some of the cars, that he had painted, he was playing in his childhood.
David has a wide ranged education in artistical subject like mechanical and architectual painting and art lessons at the university of Bozeman; the focus of his studies was however literature. For David are the cars romantic icons of a forgotten time.
Since he is living in Germany, he is concentrating his works to the realization of that romantic in his painting.
